The RO and EDI Difference

Both options are ideal for water filtration, but the level of filtration required is the key differentiator for the choice of system. The electrodeionization systems are typically reserved for use when high purity water is needed, while RO systems are used when water needs to be free of dissolved materials such as heavy metals, chemicals, or even organic matter.
